Background: Kisspeptin is an endogenous neuropeptide that regulates GnRH release from the hypothalamus. Kisspeptin-54 has been shown to effectively trigger oocyte maturation during in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment, but with markedly reduced rates of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
